These layouts are available in 41.4 and later of Cisco Webex Meetings, the Beta release of Cisco Webex Events (New), and Cisco Webex Events (Classic). To find out what version you have, see Find Your Cisco Webex Meetings Version Number.
There are four views that you can select from. There are advantages to using each of these views and you can change views at any time.
Grid view—useful when you want to divide your attention across a lot of speakers in a large meeting
Stack view—useful when you want to see other participants appear above the active speaker or shared content
Side by side view—useful when you want to see participants appear next to the active speaker or shared content
Full-screen view—useful when you want to float panels and scale them freely, or drag them to another monitor
For information about the maximum capacity for meetings and events, see What is the Maximum Number of Participants in a Webex Session or Call?
The Webex App Hub is the central hub where webex users discover and add apps to enhance their Webex experience. Listing your app is easy. In addition, with our Ecosystem Sales program, you can leverage Cisco's global sales team to help resell your app. Visit Cisco Webex App Hub. Grid View is when you can see all participants on the screen in the same exact size regardless of who is speaking. If you want a full screen experience, there's this button here in the top right-hand corner. The difference is it's going to be in that floating view which is going give you that video first experience.
Grid view allows you to see up to 25 participants at the same time. You can use Grid view so long as no one shares content in the meeting. This feature requires Cisco Webex video platform version 2.0. To find out which version you’re using, see Find Your Cisco Webex Meetings Version Number.
Up to 25 video streams can come from video systems. If there are more than 25 participants in the meeting, on the second and any later pages, the name of the video system shows in the thumbnail instead of a video stream.
The sort order of the thumbnail videos is based on who has the host and presenter roles, who has spoken most recently, who is showing their video, and alphabetical order. The participants who have spoken most recently appear first, followed by participants who are showing their video. You can lock focus on the first six thumbnail videos.
If there are more than 25 participants, you can adjust who you see by selecting the Next page and Previous page icons.

Why is Cisco Webex Cloud Video Interop (CVI) a Better Option?
We’ve highlighted the primary features and benefits that are often drivers when selecting a CVI vendor. These features not only improve the Microsoft Teams meeting experience, but also improve the meeting room experience by providing superior integration with Cisco video endpoints.
Cisco video endpoints natively register with Cisco Webex, unlike other vendors, automating firmware upgrades and simplifying ongoing management. New endpoint or Webex platform features are first enabled for Cisco endpoints, and may not be available for third-party vendors.
From a technology perspective, at times it can be good practice to have a multi-vendor cross-architecture environment in a campus, however, there must be balance especially when multiple vendors are within a single architecture. Challenges can include not being able to leverage the full native functionality offered due to third-party limitations and/or the delay in feature availability – impacting the user experience and return on investment.
From a support perspective, multi-vendor complexity often leads to further operational challenges such as managing the endpoints, updating the firmware, troubleshooting integration and/or performance-related issues during meetings. For example, if an organisation were to proceed with Cisco as the CVI provider the end to end vendor involvement in a Microsoft Teams meeting may be Cisco, Microsoft, LAN/WAN vendor, and the Internet Service Provider. Alternatively, if an organisation were to proceed with Pexip as the CVI provider the end to end vendor involvement may be Cisco, Pexip, Microsoft, LAN/WAN vendor and the Internet Service Provider – an additional vendor to engage and potentially delay incident resolution.
From a commercial perspective, as highlighted above, Cisco Webex CVI is more cost-effective, especially if an organisation already utilities Cisco Webex for video endpoint registration.
