Recosoft Corporation on Wednesday announced the release of its PDF2Office PDF converter for Mac OS X. The new version, which will ship in March, functions as an upgrade to its PDF2Office Personal PDF to Word conversion tool.

PDF2Office Personal 4.0 sports more than 120 new features and enhancements, among them complete integration with Microsoft Office 2008 as well as full support for Mac OS X 10.5 (“Leopard”). The software, which allows users to cleanly recreate the intended construction of the PDF document in a Microsoft Word file, also boasts a recovery feature to help reclaim data stored in PDF documents through its PDF Reconstruction 4.0 engine.

PDF2Office will be available as a $29 upgrade from versions 2.0 and 3.0 and retails for $59 for new users.
